We were initially apprehensive - not knowing what the space would be like, whether it would be filled with leering individuals, etc. We decided to attend your [...] Introductory dinner. [...] The other guests were sheepishly saying hello to one another as we waited to be ushered upstairs. After being greeted at the top of the stairs by one of your servers, our coats were taken and we were invited to sit and sip on champagne. We were both nervous at first, but quickly felt comfortable in your space and welcomed by all involved. The focus on consent at the beginning of dinner was ideal for our peace of mind. The night was wonderful - seemed to go too quickly - and ended right when things were getting exciting/interesting. After the dinner had concluded (with a bang), mingling with guests and servers alike (outside of the backroom) was delightful. I am amazed at the community of interesting people that are drawn to these activities.
I attended an Our Gourmet Life dinner on the recommendation of an acquaintance, a friend of a friend, who was working as a server. It was an unforgettable experience. The food was first rate, and the chef was willing to work around my food allergies. I met a group of interesting people and had some fascinating conversations. I think any adventurous person looking for a new experience should try it.
